USCIS Announces Resumption of Premium Processing for Certain Religious Worker

Effective July 20, 2009, US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has resumed offering premium processing services for religious worker petitions (commonly known as R-1 visas) filed by petitioners who have successfully passed an on-site inspection. Under the premium processing program, for an extra $1,000 USCIS will generally process an application within 15 calendar days of receipt.
